Andrew Minnelli joined Atlanta Athletic Club in April 2009 as Associate Director of Tennis after three years as Head Professional at Country Club of Roswell. At Country Club of Roswell, Andrew worked with adult league teams, implemented QuickStart junior programming, created an in house junior intraclub league, and assisted with the coordination of their Pro-Am Charity Invitational, which annually raises over $50k for Bert's Big Adventure. Prior to his relocation to Atlanta in 2006, Andrew worked at The Landings Club in Savannah, Ga., the largest privately owned country club in the United States. Andrew was also a traveling coach and sparring partner with the world class Stan Smith-Billy Stearns Tennis Academy on Hilton Head Island, S.C. from 2002-2003.
In addition to his on court responsibilities, Andrew is in his third year of service with the Georgia Professional Tennis Association Board of Directors, and has been named Vice President of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) Georgia Chapter. He also has held two professional business positions with the ATP Tour and International Management Group
As a competitive player, Andrew currently plays in the USTA Atlanta Pro League circuit, was a two-time NCAA Championship competitor, nationally ranked ITA collegiate doubles player, and senior captain at Kalamazoo College. Andrew is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and a graduate of Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Mich.
