Davenport wins Stanford doubles in comeback

Playing her first WTA tournament since the 2008 U.S. Open, Lindsay Davenport has won the doubles title in Stanford with Liezel Huber. They defeated Yung-Jan Chan and Jie Zheng 7-5, 6-7 (8), (10-8).

The win gave Huber her fourth title of the season and cemented her return to No. 1 in the doubles rankings, while Davenport took her first doubles title since Memphis in 2008. The pair will also play together in San Diego.
