Clubsport Pleasanton GRIPS Testing and GRIPS founder visit!
Hello ClubSport Pleasanton JTC players and Parents. Next week is GRIPS testing week!
"The GRIPS Program allows players and their coaches the ability to easily identify specific weaknesses in their game and turn them into strengths – resulting in mastery of
the comprehensive skill set of a champion.” Dick Gould-Winningest Coach in College Tennis History.
Plus, Thursday, March 25, 2010 Aaron Fox, GRIPS co-founder, will be here during regular JTC clinic hours, 3:30-5:00, to answer questions and help with testing. If you would like to meet Aaron and ask questions about why this method is unique and comprehensive way to build tennis skills and how your junior can get the most out of the program, please stop by the courts-he will be on court 7.
We continue to find value in the GRIPS program and I strongly feel this is a great way to track progress, master skills, and become more involved in passion for tennis. This week, I asked all students to practice the physical portion of GRIPS by adding one crunch/push up to each day. I also recommended they come out Saturday or Sunday with a parent or friend to work on their crosscourt and down-the-line skills.
If you do not have a GRIPS account, please register now. If you have taken a GRIPS test before, please take, and pass, the online test for your next scheduled color, and print out your on-court GRIPS test to bring to your regularly scheduled clinic. Please allow us one business week to process your results.
Please feel free to email me any questions and as always, good luck and good tennis, Marc.
