Hello fellow Grips members,
I just wrapped up a wonderful trip in Rimouski Canada. For everyone who doesn't know where Rimouski is i will tell you how to get there. I left on Saturday morning at 6am. First you take a 6 hour flight from los angeles to Montreal (Hopefully you don't have any connections or it will be longer) Then you can either take a 7 hr bus ride, an 8 hr train ride or rent a car and drive 350 miles. I chose the 8 hr train so i arrived in Rimouski at 3am on Sunday. Not very fun. I then played first match on monday morning against the 8 seed, thanks a lot tournament director. It was an indoor tournament and i usually like indoors since it suits my game very well. I played a good match against Nielsen and won pretty handily 63 64. In the next round i played a very long two sets against Alex Kuznetsov but came out on the losing end this time 67 57. As you could imagine i wanted to get out of town quickly but again it was no easy feat. I took the 7 hr bus this time, overnight to catch my 6am flight out of montreal. Like i said, Boraphyl !!
